Most people live their spiritual lives at a safe distance from sin and those who commit it. We attend services, study theology, and discuss faith, yet rarely get close enough to help those whose lives are actively burning around us. We overlook those trapped in addiction, isolation, or even just quiet desperation because oftentimes, we get too comfortable in our faith and choose not to see them.

Lead Pastor and national speaker Trevor DeVage delivers a battle-tested blueprint for proactive compassion and Christianity inspired by Jude 23: “Rescue others by snatching lives from hell to hope”. Anchored in real-world street ministry, prison visits, and church leadership, DeVage proves that transformation doesn't come from a distance, rather it happens when one is brave enough to risk getting burned by the fire to save others.

About the Author

Trevor DeVage

Trevor DeVage is the Lead Pastor of Pantano Christian Church in Tucson, Arizona, one of the fastest-growing megachurches in the nation, as well as a national speaker and podcast host. Known for his raw honesty, humor, and passion for reaching people far from hope, Trevor has spent decades on the frontlines of ministry, moving beyond comfortable theology to walk alongside people in the darkest places of life.

From sitting across prisoners in prison units to building 14-year friendships with men living on the street, his ministry is rooted in authentic relationships and radical compassion. Inspired by Jude 23, DeVage’s life message centers around "snatching people from the fire", a calling that shapes his preaching, church leadership, and national speaking engagements. Trevor and his team are committed to building a church that feels like home for people who never thought church was for them and going far beyond the safety of the Church to save others and bring them to Jesus.
